A mission close to the operations

Örebroporten is a flat organization with about 50 employees, where responsibility and trust are given early. This places high demands on the digital work environment to be stable, accessible, and easy to use. Therefore, the IT technician's mission is to work concretely and closely with the operations to ensure that employees have the right conditions to do their job every day.

The role is characterized by a practical approach where problem-solving, service, and dialogue are central. It is about being present, helping out, solving technical challenges as they arise, and contributing to ensuring that workstations, meeting rooms, and digital tools function as they should. As the organization develops, there is also room to grow with the task, take on greater responsibility, and help shape how IT support evolves over time.

Examples of tasks

  • Provide daily IT support to colleagues in the operations and contribute to a functioning digital workday.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, software, and peripherals.
  • Ensure that meeting rooms, conference technology, and digital meetings run smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot and manage IT-related issues in collaboration with internal contacts and external suppliers.
  • Document solutions and help develop routines and user support over time.

Are you the one we are looking for?

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Post-secondary education in IT, such as vocational training.
  • Experience or good understanding of workplace IT support in a mission-critical environment.
  • Practical knowledge in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computers, workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with working in a Windows environment and with Microsoft 365.
  • Experience or understanding of AV and meeting technology, including Teams, Zoom, and hybrid meetings.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate issues with external IT and AV suppliers.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and documentation of IT actions.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Driver's license (B).

Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, BIM, and scanning, as well as previous experience as an IT technician and relevant IT certifications, are also meritorious.
